Any solutions for back pain? In the middle of my second trimester, and my back has been aching, especially when I need to travel for work or have a lot of activities to do (reorganizing, grocery shopping, etc.).
I sleep with a pregnancy pillow, but was wondering if any pregnant mamas have some recommendations for pain during the day.
Side note: $60k is low…ask for $70-75k at least!
Got it
One thing that helped me refine my resume was to find PM profiles on LinkedIn and see how they present themselves, what language they use, etc. Also googling PM resumes should give you a launchpad for inspiration on how to further refine your resume. Good luck!
Ensure you have these keywords, some you do. Be honest but essentially everyone touches these is some form or the other: budget, scope, schedule, project plan, risk, resource, stakeholder, communication, change control.
Get a CAPM (1-2 months), learn MS Project for free online (2 weeks) and add those in as well.
Use Wharton template and keep it 1 page
I can’t imagine summarizing 25 years of experience into one page. I already chopped it down to two pages by only focusing on last 10 years. I know people disagree but if you have dozens of amazing projects and accomplishments, a one pager just feels ridiculous.
I would describe the companies/orgs less and really pay attention to tenses.
Also do you have any certificates in PM? that could help you immensely, also using more project related language in your descriptions will make your more comfortable with the topic and value descriptions. Stay confident!
Happy to, it's hard recovering from that. Also make lists of things you are proud of and get your project examples in order, will help you in interviews a lot if you have good stories to build on/draw from. All the best!
Try to push action and results rather than tasks and make sure you have some numbers in there identifying something like ROI or percentage achieved.
How did it go?
Great to hear. Fingers crossed!
