HR - Why do we hire you.
Me -
Hello Guys, I got an offer from Accenture with a package of 7.82 LPA ( variable + fixed ). Out of which 21% parks to variable pay which is 1.35 L. So my fixed pay would be 6.47 LPA. May I know what will be my take home salary for the same excluding variable pay. If at all variable pay is given how much % can I expect in 2 half yearly cycles.

Do you find yourself under extra scrutiny? Is your workload significantly lower than your colleagues? When you ask for any help or guidance so you find yourself getting the bare minimum?
I usually see these as the signs that the org is losing faith in you.
My 2cents: it depends on the organizations style, and your managements style. Some will leave you alone, others will engage trying to solve the issues being experienced. Don’t forget that imposter syndrome is very real, you can feel like a hack, while meeting all expectations. Meet with your manager, ask for help or feedback. Also remember that companies hire based on your potential, ideally that means you have the time needed to reach that potential. This too should motivate you to talk to your manager or mentor. Most of the time it cost more to replace you, than to work with you on your abilities.
Clear sign is if they put you on a PIP
Yea- what are the specifics leading you to think so? Are you on a PIP?
Don't be afraid to ask for help. Its easier to train you up than replace you.
In large corporations it’s usually very hard to fire someone outside of a layoff or very significant issue. If it’s performance related you will be put on a PIP before you can be fired normally. If you are on a PIP you need to find a new job immediately, by the time you are on a PIP they have already decided they want to let you go.
When they put a last minute meeting on your calendar with no agenda or warning 🥲
Yes 🥲
What’s are you not doing that making you think like that? Did they say or do anything?
Signs , you’re no longer cc’d in on emails , projects, co-workers stop talking to you bc, they all know… you’re the only one who doesn’t know. You walk in on a group of ppl and they get quiet , you annual review goes really bad, your direct sup talks to you in third person, you get emails that begin with “ as per our last conversation “ Or hey when you get in please see me and bring your office keys. Lastly when HR person is there before you come in and greets you by name. Bc we all know HR don’t know they employees. Advice document everything transfer emails to an outside account because if you document on your work email when they terminate that your evidence is gone. Get coworkers outside emails communicate with them and get them to collaborate your story. don’t only document the bad things document any great comments and reviews so when they say that you’ve always been an issues you have valid docs to show differ. Sad but in this world you have to CYA.
