Deloitte does to involuntary separations every year based on performance. However, last year, due to COVID, there were more separations. We have since started hiring and growing our consulting to the point where recruiters are emailing folks whom we let go!
Don’t worry about layoffs — last years #s were because of COVID, and it was happening all over. I wouldn’t factor that into your decision. Deloitte GPS business has grown considerably over the pandemic and is pretty stable given large, long-term contracts.
Deloitte GPS also did very, very few layoffs and the ones we did we were targeted to low performers.
How much are they offering?
As a top performer myself last year I received the largest bonus in my career (42K) and was promoted to SM in GPS. Zero worries about coming over. The water is warm.
Deloitte GPS is a massive vertical. Its client base includes: Federal agencies; state, local, territorial, and tribal governments; higher education; international organizations and NGOs; and non-profit entities. And as someone mentioned, contracts are multi year and there is great stability.
Deloitte offers great training and a very strong culture.
