Hi. Currently interviewing at a few companies and wanted to know about Prophet Brand Strategy & Capco… Are they good companies to work for and what is their WLB like?
A friend of mine got out of UX Bootcamp not long ago. He spent a lot of his adult life training to become an illustrator wanting to work for games. Since he finished bootcamp, he can't find a job.. not even an internship. Any tips to help him get there?
WFH today and answered a conference call while taking a shit. Accidentally had the video on.
Won’t get employee match on 401k until next year I believe. Should I continue to contribute 15% or lower it and wait to contribute more when I get matched? Or does it matter? Hope to get some advice!
Really struggling with what to do next in life. I feel like declaring search but have 0 idea what is the right job for me. Everything sounds sexy, I have serious FOMO about PM at FAANG...would love to hear from people who navigating this uncertainty and found something they're excited about
Recently ended a 3+ yr relationship (were both mid 20s and living together for just under 2 years) bc of him buying an engagement ring yet not proposing and waffling about our future. After 2 weeks I brought up that there’s a lot of good in us that maybe worth trying to work on (counseling etc). He wants space first and asked me to not wait for him as he sorts out his emotions and “tries to be happy again” (COVID depression and 100hr work weeks). Then he’ll decide if he wants to try again
I see plenty of people go for a walk during the day, yet I hardly see any of my EY teammates appear “away” for 15/20+ minutes. I recognize that not everyone is in consulting, but can’t imagine that *none* of those walking are. Asking as a relative newcomer to the workforce: Is it acceptable to be away from work for more than just a few minutes, regardless of industry? If so, how can I feel comfortable stepping away to prioritize my health and well-being when so few of my teammates do so?
Advice to directors, senior managers, MDs and partners applying to Google 1. Google is growing slowly. Gcp is growing really fast. Make sure you know where you are applying 2. Sales and sales related roles are growing the fastest. 3. You will not get a team to do your work for you - all the stuff you used to delegate. You will need to do that now. 4. The people that run teams are called managers. They do the following a) scoping work b) staffing c) people mgmt.
WFH with my pets

What are some of the crazy timelines agency producers are dealing with when it comes to getting campaigns from concept approval to launch? As things are opening up I am getting some crazy turn around requests where the laws of time and space are not invited to the brief 😝
What’s a question you could ask in an interview to determine a candidate’s grit and whether they are willing to put in the work to succeed?
Do Business Analysts positions in industry require case interviews? Can anyone provide any personal experience?
How do you teach yourself to care less? I am always stressed and over worked while other seniors on my team are 50% utilized don't care and still get promoted. I also want to have the idc attitude..
What to do if I suspect I’ve been given a different pto policy from my coworkers? I accrue 10 hours of pto at the end of each month of my employment. This was a very fine detail hidden until the end of my negotiation process. I’m regretting not pushing back on it. Do you know of others at your company that have different policies than you do? I’m a start up full of highly experienced people (I’m the least) so I imagine it’s more likely to happen at a smaller firm?
I am Consultant 2 in EY GDS Risk advisory. If i become Consultant 3 this year how much salary hike should I expect. My current CTC is 10.5 lacs.
Do MBA programs take grade deflation into account at all? I went to UC Berkeley and started off pre-med. Changed to Econ and had a 3.5 major gpa but 3.3 overall, can a good story+GMAT save me for M7?
