Is it worth leaving big 4 as a deals senior making 112k for an assistant controller position at a private company ($1-$2billion revenue) paying 140-150k?

I was due for a promotion b4 leaving & that may still be on the table … however the current business unit I work in doesn’t have a good financial projection this year..so may offer less than 7% but with all the increases and now living in London that will go straight to the tax man… how do I negotiate a salary increase pls?

Hi All, I have received offer from Wipro and location is Pune but during HR discussion I mentioned my preferred locations as Gurgaon/Delhi/Jaipur . Same I had discussed with HR after receiving the offer but now they are saying joining location can not be changed and have to join at Pune only.

Please suggest what can I do in this case as I don't want Pune location because Wipro is calling for hybrid mode work and need NCR only ?

Very close to receiving a job offer for a fast growin start-up company related to dental. It is located in SF which unfortunately is not Americas most expensive city to live in (I’d have to move there). Started pricing apartments and will need an offer of about $135k to qualify for housing but anything I find for a salary reference says the company plays about 95k in SF - how do I justify my experience and drive to the company to show my value or is that too big of a wage gap to bridge? Hi I work in patient finance and I am desperately bored with my job. I have a bachelors which isn’t a requirement for my role. I have been applying non stop to jobs that do require a bachelors and I am qualified for. Either I don’t get called for an interview or when I do I’m not selected. I have followed up with some of the interviewers and they all told me I interview well. I am so tired of disappointment that I feel like giving up and just settling. I don’t know what to do.

I have been a phlebotomist for the last three and a half years with quest. I have over 20 years of experience. And have been trying to transfer to a different state. I believe that I am being blocked from my transfer even though my manager approves it on paper. Is there any way I can find this out. If I can't successfully transfer I may have to look for work outside of my current employer.

Paternalistic Hierarchy: how can you manage?

I have been given new bosses 2x in 60-90 days. We now have 15 minute huddles every morning on bus dev activities. The newest boss who I now directly report is with us 5 weeks. The one before him that is with us for 90 days I reported to until 2 weeks ago. Yesterday at the 90 day guy disrespected me in front of the team in the huddle. I text him after & told him that.
