Totally fine. Just do it.
As a well seasoned creative here is my advice: Never be concerned with titles. Only the work and the money.
Let’s face it. ACDs really are just better paid senior creatives. And before you freak out and say “woah, I manage some small work streams” Yep, but so do senior creatives.
I have changed multiple past job titles on my LinkedIn/resume. No one has ever noticed or cared. My opinion is to put the title that best reflects the work you’re doing and the job you want next.

I wonder the same thing, my official role is also senior creative, fishbowl for some reason didn’t even recognized it and changed back to senior art director, and the reality is that I act like acd, or even a CD depending on the client that I’m working on. I often report straight to the CCO. To be honest I like this way, but always wonder if I have to jump somewhere I’d probably would wanna jump to CD but having sr. Creative as a title doesn’t help me.
It’s totally ethical to put the job you’re doing on your LinkedIn. Nobody will think twice about it.
I agree with all of the above, but can a recruiter/hiring manager weigh in?
“Ethical” lol
