I'm working in Brisbane as a Marketing Coordinator and only make 60k per annum. Not sure if I should switch careers to Testing. But there are no entry level jobs for tester, everyone is asking for an experience. But the marketing pays really low.

1. Excellent questions by Karan, top interviewer. That said he shouldn't interrupt as much, we want to hear the interviewee more than the interviewer
2. Moeed should answer questions directly, people can see through deflections
3. We should have more of these. Helps frame issues and hold people to their views

Mid 2020, I turned down an opportunity to jump ship from my small law firm to a big law firm. At the time I had 4 years of practice under my belt with managerial experience. I thought the offer was reasonable, come in at a 2nd year level, but with the uncertainty of the times I played it safe. Now I regret it. What avenues do I have, if any, to jump into big law from a small firm?

I feel like I am so inexperienced in my job that everything takes so long to complete and get used to. Hence, I constantly feel guilty that I am spending a lot of time on my tasks and I am not adding enough value especially given the cost that clients pay for our time. I also fear that most of my time will get written off at the end of the day by the matter managers. Is this feeling normal and does it go away?

Maybe some perspective might be of use to me. I’m transitioning out of the service and I’ve positioned myself decently to be competitive in the market. I’ve got two offers from great companies. Biotech and Healthcare, both on the Human Capital Team as an Employee Relations Consultant. I have a graduate degree pursuing a Doctorate, LSSBB, ScrumMaster, SPHR, and PMI-ACP certified. I know this is personal and dependent, but what should I be considering as a commensurate salary?
Hey everyone! I’m new here! I recently accepted a new position (three months ago) and I excitedly accepted the first offer of the salary not knowing allll of the responsibilities that came with this position. It’s as a cash application specialist. This positions duties were held by 3 people and is now combined into 1 role.

I’m currently a Chief of Staff (ignore post title) negotiating a new job title. The proposed from Co. that I’m working with is “Senior Manager” (mapped to “level 9”) with a lot following it to describe the team. Director is not allowable but could present “associate director”. Which carries more clout (“senior manager” vs “associate director”) at your org? Team involves digital strat, ops, implementation at well-known co and trying to reflect high level of the role but concerned SM mistranslates

I’m considering a potential job change but I’m not confident about the salary I should ask for. For reference I make ~40K w/minimal benefits. I am a customer service lead and marketing content creator & Feel I am a bit underpaid. The new position sounds like it will be a business admin. Glassdoor shows salary avg at 69k with a related degree (East coast) but I don’t have any college edu. I want 60k but am not sure if it’s reasonable (prob no benefits). I’m confident I would excel in this job
Does anyone know what the salary band is for a Lead Analyst at Stryker Corporation is in the US? Glassdoor has it at around 95K and wanted to see if that was accurate. It’ll be for the Business Process team. I’m on the final round of interviews and my recruiter won’t tell me!

I’m a sales professional in the EdTech space. We were acquired about 2 years ago and there’s been some growing pains. I was promoted to this position in January under the impression that my bonus payout would be quarterly. Shortly after Q1, the comp said they had up to 60days to pay us out. I currently have no idea when I’m getting paid out or the precise amount. New bonus structure plans are coming out as we start a fiscal year. How would you go about renegotiating salary/ bonus payout?
