Hi fishes, got an offer from rb and have few doubts
1. does rbei give 100 percent variable or little less?
2.When is the variable payout and hikes every year?
3.What is the current work from home situation? Do they allow permanent work from home from different location?
4. Was anyone able to renegotiate their offer?

Not sure what you're switching from, but PR is not the way to go if dealing with people you don't like irks you.
I'd look into coding, accounting, or some other job where you can generally just plug in and get your work done. Or if the reason you want to get into PR is because you like writing, then slightly pivot and focus on content-only roles.
…are you sure a career in client services is right for you?
Are you like 22 or something? Working with people you don’t like is part of virtually any job unless you own the business.
As EVP1 pointed out, a job in client services may not be for you…
I also agree that this may not be the career for you. Small talk is essential both with coworkers and in client service. I have seen firsthand people who are nice but shy not considered for jobs.
Perhaps consider a career that is less relationship focused. For example, my friend works for the IRS and while she still needs to get along with colleagues, there's definitely less chit chat expected. And there are no clients, just taxpayers - very different!
Yes. And here’s my advice. Stop working on lateraling into PR and find a new career path. This is definitely not the right one for you.
“having to deal with people I really don’t like”? lol. Welcome to adulthood
Some tough love responses above but they’re not wrong. PR involves a lot of shmoozing and doing things you don’t necessarily like and things that aren’t as glamorous as they appear in the movies/tv/online. Always happy to chat more if you’re interested - shoot me a DM!
Thinking this probably isn’t the career for you which is totally fine …
Does not sound like PR is for you - spare yourself
“The larger your network, the better off you are.” This kind of relates to most, if not, all careers. I certainly found this hard too when I was a junior, but if you switch your mindset into thinking, yes this person is an ass but perhaps you could gain a lot from this person - such as what not to be when you’re in their position 😅
