Has anyone sent out a survey about remote or Covid-19 job burnout/employee well-being that they can possibly share the template questions with me? I found the results for a survey sent out at Deloitte but didn’t have success at looking at some of the questions that were used. Any help would be incredibly appreciated!
I feel for the jr’s who have started their careers in this remote world, missing out on all the experience that comes with being in an office surrounded by people and creative work instead of the silo of WFH. Any suggestions on how to keep them engaged and learning without it feeling forced with zoom tutorial sessions?
My professional life at the moment is far from ideal. I’ve been on quarantine (long story, but a good one) for the last seven years. Royalties from my books don’t pay the bills. My entrepreneurial pursuits remain hampered. For the interim, I’ve been looking for a remote opportunity where I can leverage my skills in marketing, sales, social media, and elsewhere for a decent sum. I have a social media presence which, in recent years, reached millions. There has to be something exciting I can do.
How is The Martin Agency post-WFH? Heard lots of great things about it in the recent past, but curious since it seems like everywhere went downhill after the pandemic.
Any one else feeling a little disenchanted with NYC? I’ve spent the past two months wfh staying out of state... being by beach/woods has been so grounding, it’s mad cheap and just easier way of life
Does anyone work primarily out of a coworking space like wework or regus? New job is 100% wfh when not traveling (which is about once a month) and wondering if this would be a good option, since I have a kid on the way and will be harder to WFH.
Looking for Senior AEs ( base + uncapped commission ) as well as an Ad Opper at KORTX in Detroit . Fully remote. www.KORTX.io
Husband Relies on Me for Lunch - I know this is dumb, but before the pandemic, my husband ate lunch at the office and I was generally in charge of dinner. He’s super flexible with buying takeout so I never found it annoying. Since the pandemic began though, my husband has begun relying on me to provide him lunch while WFH. I’m busy during the day, and we have different lunch preference schedules. He does not get how annoying it is to me to have to be in charge of his lunch. Am I in the wrong?
Shameless plug to a LinkedIn post that I wrote yesterday. Lists upon lists of remote companies including EMEA/APAC roles. https://www.linkedin.com/posts/chris-day-2021_opentowork-remotejobs-fishbowlapp-activity-6857385362189299712-Lboo

Hi fishes, are there any us/uk Or other companies that allow work from home from India?? I m looking for QA positions
I’m a 2nd year civil litigation associate at a mid-sized firm in south Florida. My dream has always been to go in house but was dissuaded by law school professors telling me not to. I’m at a crossroads now because I’m OVER the billing, but my boss and direct team is quite possibly the most amazing and supportive group. My boss is always willing to let us work remote or take vacations. My question is, is the grass greener on the other side? Should I go in house now or wait another 3 years?
Have your firms and companies begin to worry about your new hires over the next 1 to 5 years. Every one from the class of 2020 to the class of 2024 that went to brick & mortar colleges is negatively impacted in their overall education experience. So we should expect those grads to require special care when they join the workplace. We should also expect many tier 3, and some tier 2 universities to also struggle financially as remote learning becomes a more formidable competitor.
Are you guys enjoying this mandatory work from home? Or you are so bored and ready to go back to office?
Currently at Apple making a total of $270,000 but have to be in Silicon Valley. Pay is good, but don’t love what I’m doing. Growth potential for more money is likely. But living cost is high here. Have an opportunity to make $240,000 fully remote, to do more interesting work, that I believe I’ll enjoy more. Can probably move to a less expensive market, but still in CA. Thoughts?
Losing focus and desire to work today. Is it because it’s Monday or because it’s week 8 working remote? 🤷♀️
Back in the day, I did my own PR, sales & marketing for whatever business idea I was running with at the time. What’s a good remote sales opportunity I can do anywhere in the world that won’t be painful or too high touch? Where I can use my social & business skills (markets, law, cloud, publishing, media, logistics, algos, social media, books, ebooks, design, podcasting, marketing, press release writing, voiceover, journalism) to earn a few extra shillings?
Anyone in need of United RPU / GPU, please DM me
Is there a hard limit on how frequent you can apply in a year at FAANG? (For instance: Amazon, Google) Also, how many positions are we allowed to apply? There are just many positions at different teams right.

Hi Google - I am requesting guidance! I am prepping for my interview specifically GCA and open ended questions. I struggle to tell if the outcome should be talking through your process/steps (maybe for a question like - how would you go about determining program complexity) vs a specific solution such as create x new product, for x market by x date based on my assumptions. Is the desired outcome something I can clarify with the interviewer?
I’m interested in IQVIA’s Financial Investors Group. Is anybody open to chatting and potentially throwing a referral my way?
Anyone in CLT want to grab beer and food at sycamore brewery tonight? Leaving from Meridian at 6 to head there
I haven’t worked with a therapist before but know I’m totally burnt out and need some time off from work. Has anyone successfully started a relationship with a therapist and gotten their support to do an LOA shortly after starting with them? I’m worried because I don’t have a long standing relationship with a therapist, they’ll be resistant to supporting this. Would appreciate any advice
Indianapolis area - any other HR leaders?
Anyone been to Patagonia and have day trip recomendations? Also any Marriott (or other) hotel/lodging recs for El Calafate or Puerto Natales? :)
I just started working at a Digital Strategy Consulting Boutique firm but the company is in Europe and we work in another language entirely. I started off as an intern (8 months) and now I am working full time. I am trying to learn the language to be more interactive with the clients and in the meetings but it's super difficult. Should I switch or learn the language and stay here for another year? It's a small firm and the pay is not that great but good for beginners in the country. Any advice?
New fish looking for career guidance. I'm a corporate recruiter with 3 years of experience. Finishing my degree in HRM 5/2022. I'm thinking of getting my SHRM -CP shortly after graduation. I'm not sure of where to go after that, but I doubt I will stick with recruiting or my current firm. Has anyone here started off in recruiting and branched out to other HR functions? Do you like your new role? Do you wish you stuck with recruiting?

I currently work in a hybrid sales/marketing role. However, I would love more experience in marketing specifically so I can move in to a marketing specific role. Does anyone have a suggestion of books or articles, podcasts, organizations to follow that will allow me to stay up to date on the latest trends but also help prepare for a marketing centric role? Thank you
