Imigration status is on almost every job application. Some people have told me that if you need a visa just put NO so that you are not automatically disqualified and then explain your situation later if you make it to the offer stage. Thoughts on this strategy? Haven't tried it, but thinking about using it.

Also from TCS I have got UK visa stamped and ready to fly .
The visa is for 2 years .
Should I go onsite or switch .
In BT there is no onsite opportunity .

US immigration question. Green card interview date was cancelled in March 2020. It’s been a whole year of just waiting for a reschedule date, so the I-485 is transferable (e.g. to another state, another employer). Has anyone transferred their i-485 to another employer? What was that process like? Would my process start from the interview phase? How did you prove that the next job was in the same category? So I have been offered a job at multinational company as a Data Engg. It was a part of the hiring event, and literally got selected with a VERY VERY SIMPLE technical assessment, and a 45 minute interview.

The pay should within my expectations, but I am unsure about the company and the team.
