Fox News narratives just boiling over into FB today

It’s weird how you can just tell sometimes

I hear Trump also resolved the 100 Year War, the Spanish Inquisition, and he finally held the Romans responsible for killing Jesus.

Imagine thinking that the “Kosovo war” was something Clinton “got us into”. That these silly “we aren’t at war” peace treaties has solved the problems of the Middle East.

Clinton elected to engage in the Balkans without a clear strategy. And I never said it solved all of the problems in the ME, but it’s a massive step in the right direction.

Just because it’s not on the news doesn’t mean it’s solved. There are still troops and diplomats there. ISIS is very much alive.

This is a tongue and cheek post, but there is an aura of truth to it, in that I’ve been pleasantly surprised by Trump’s foreign policy achievements as of late

Hope you’re thanking your parent for your job every day.

“Content director” sounds far more likely to be the result of nepotism than McKinsey consultant, just saying.

I know nearly everyone is feeling burned out right now - how are you managing? What strategies are you using? I took a full week off in January and really expected it to do wonders...but I feel like it didn’t help at all. Every assignment I get still feels like such a huge weight. I’m so exhausted & overwhelmed. Would love to get some ideas for other things I could try for stress management. Thanks!

My boss and ceo are strongly advising for us to come back to the office and have even set up client meetings for our international clients within the office. I have expressed that I do not feel comfortable going in since I live with two people who are high risk but have been told that "it is what it is" and that they don't want another zoom call. The pandemic is still very much happening here.
Has anyone else encountered this and if so, how did you handle?

It feels like no matter what time of day or day of the week I try to have for myself, I can’t relax because I always have to be ready.

Does anyone else struggle with engaging in the politics and horn-tooting of PM life? What do/did you do to adapt/cope?

I'm coming to realize that my organization/department is very political. In order to succeed as a PM on this team you have to play the visibility game. And usually your visibility speaks louder here than your actual work. Or I should say, it doesn't matter what you do as much as it matters who's hearing about it or seeing it...
