Not helpful style wise but you should consider using rent the runway since you don’t plan to get much additional use out of it!

I 100% agree, I wouldn’t want to spend too much money on a dress that won’t fit me well in a few months/long term

I’m in a similar situation and doing something like this. Stretchy around the rib cage, flowy over the belly snd hips. Easy boob access for pumping/nursing.

Love the idea of the tie your own way - it’s so hard to know how things will fit right now and feels impossible to get out and try things with baby!

If you already have any flowy dresses that are a little stretchy at the top, try then with a spanx bodysuit - it may fit and save you some $$!

Ooh this is a good idea. Maybe that would firm up some of the loose skin!

When I had a few big events and weddings immediately postpartum, I got two formal jumpsuits with a wrap/v-neck neckline. One was a red floral DVF, the other black striped from Maje. They were great for nursing, and the structured waist with wider pant legs helped cover/distract from my soft belly. And I felt great in them. Don’t sleep on jumpsuits.

Note: I am hopeful that I’ll continue to lose the weight, so I’d ideally like to spend no more than $250 on a dress. I have another black tie wedding in about two weeks at a really similar venue, so I expect to wear this dress twice. I was a 4/6 before pregnancy and am assuming I’ll be around an 8/10 in this dress, if that helps at all. I’m hourglass’y in terms of shape. (“Birthing hips” if you will haha)

I have a petty sister-in-law who insists that my husband and I live a life doing whatever we want and I don't go to see my bro or nephew because I don't care for them. Mind you I go over minimum once a week, even if just for 30 mins cause I enjoy seeing the baby. Is it worth confronting her when she posts shade on her IG immediately after a convo with my bro about not passing by. My next instinct is to ignore and stop reaching out to them (I usually initiate)

Anyone tried or have a Tonal? Thoughts? How are the class? Do you feel fitter after using it? How long are workouts? How often are you using it? Is it addictive and fun like peloton? We have a peloton, which we love, but aren't disciplined enough use it consistently. Need to get back into the fitness game now that the pandemic is over. Like the gym / classes, but the time saving aspect of at home workouts is great and better for us right now with baby. Might get this as gift for hubby.

Long story short - my nanny has many conservative values - mom shaming breastfeeding in public, gender specific roles, considering boys better than girls etc. it never bothered me before and I have learned to co exist with her however now my toddler is speaking and understanding more I am worried about him being influenced by her. Further she also has comments against my SO being too involved parent & calling out son as cutie, hugging toddler etc as he is a boy. Contd..

Has anyone here been in the situation where you’ve been taking a prescribed ADD drug for years and now want to stop for pregnancy? Been taking it for 18 years and truly need it in order to function/concentrate. I have been trying to wean off it, but with filings & trial coming up, I don’t see how I can. I really want to get pregnant (already have frozen embryos ready to go via IVF) and am almost 40. I’m consulting with my dr, but was wondering if anyone else has advice from their own experience.

I found out today that my employer doesn’t offer any paid parental leave (maternity or paternity). This isn’t a major issue now, but my wife and I are planning on trying in a year or so from now. How many other employers don’t offer any paid leave at all? Coming from public accounting this seemed outrageous to me, but curious to see what other companies are like.
