In Barclays is it mandatory to be a lead if they are offering BA4 designation?
Can anyone work as experienced candidate individually with BA4 designation?

Is working at a healthcare agency early in your career a bad move if you really want to do the traditional ad route? I ask because I was approached to apply for one (highly awarded). I’m at a small shop on a 6 month contract, and since it’s lockdown still, I’m keeping my ears open. I’ve heard it’s a hard niche to get out of.

I have 3 YOE and and MS and I’m noticing that many managers and people who have 10+ yoe are very behind when it comes to their data technologies specifically, lacking in Python and cloud . Why is this with data being such a fast moving field why aren’t this people riding to the occasion of learning? Most of them just stick to SQL and excel 😅

Thinking about leaving Product Management.

Altogether I’ve been in Product from entry level role to senior/lead pm now for about 5 years.

I’m fed up/burnt out dealing with incompetent people (clients devs different teams) the mundane and repetitiveness of rinse recycle and repeat of product is exhausting and boring me out.

I make really good money and honestly I’m only in it for the money now. What’s a career that pas 500k+

I am a POC and have enjoyed the diversity of colleagues that I have met in consulting so far. When I look at websites of PE firms, I see primarily white men from Associate all the way to Managing Director level.

Why do you think there are these structural differences? Do PE firms not believe as much in diversity of thoughts/lived experiences?

Do you think that consulting would provide more advancement opportunities than PE does for a POC, given the structural differences?

Struggling with imposter syndrome here. Serious question. Why is there so much emphasis on big 4 experience? I started off in industry, recently joined advisory at a big 4 - primarily because during my job search recruiters and job listing all mentioned big 4 experience preferred. Please explain why big 4 experience matters so much.

Anyone have advice on how to graciously leave a very small law firm? I’m the only full time associate and feeling guilty about leaving.
