In case anyone would like to spare themselves a heart attack stroke and possibly spreading Covid to a large group of people as you run around screaming for help. If you child goes missing and doesn’t respond to you calling her name despite screaming it at the top of your lungs 50 times check under the blankets her room. She could be a very sound sleeper and entirely huddled under the blanket on the floor. Also don’t trust your 12 year old to check under the blanket either before calling 911.

I’m having a panic attack for you. Kids. 🤬

My wife even hid and made me be stupid in front of the police alone like an idiot single father.

And they said having kids was a good idea

I’m pretty sure this is only said by people who want karma to make you suffer. Usually your parents 🤣

We had just moved into a new house and I was home with my 3 year old, while my wife and was out with my 4 and 6 year old and my 3 year old went missing. I called 911 thinking he was wandering the streets or was swept away in the river the runs through our backyard, only to find he has fallen asleep behind the couch and that’s why he didn’t respond to me calling him. An awful feeling, but a huge relief when I found him.

Exactly the same here. I went straight to sources of water fearing the worst after searching every room and yelling her name. Never thought she could sleep through my bellow.

I mean, it ISN’T technically illegal to put a Tile on them (or inside shoes etc.) 🙃

It’s a tracker for a lot of stuff. I will definitely put it on my kids.

Similar happened to my wife while I was traveling. She couldn’t find our 2.5 year old and was frantically searching around the house. We lived by a desert wash and with a park across the street. She was this close to going into full on freak out search and 911 mode when she found him peacefully asleep, under the covers of the bed in the guest room!
🙀

OMG so been there.

Time to get tracking chips inserted at birth! 👶🏼🧬

Only issue there is my wife does that with our oldest daughter and her cell phone. Every time she visits grandma she shows up in the middle of a river. First time it happened my wife freaked out because our daughter didn’t respond to text messages for a couple hours.

I’ve taken Adderall for several years & it has helped a lot for my ADHD. However, recently I have been increasingly overwhelmed with balancing work, school, & home life. I am really struggling to manage my symptoms even while taking the maximum ER dosage. I recently started taking Strattera as well, but haven’t noticed much improvement. My doctor has suggested switching to Vyvanse instead. What are your thoughts on Vyvanse vs Adderall? Has anyone has had more success with it?

Good afternoon, I’m Terres Franklin currently attending OU in the HRD B.S program. I’m completely new to this career field, I came from healthcare but desperately needed a change prior to Covid. Since I know little about is sector, I want more insight, shadowing, mentoring/ coaching etc. I guess my question would be where can I start to make connections. Are there conferences or seminars that I can attend that would assist in the process. Thank you in advance!

My boyfriend is not the best at providing emotional support. I’m pretty sure a lot of it stems from him not being able to fully express his emotions when he was younger. Does this mean our relationship is doomed or is there anything we can do to work on this? I just want to feel supported and that he is there for me.

I’m in Los Angeles and I have extra medication from an egg retrieval cycle that I’d like to give away (free). This bowl has been such a huge community of support for me, so I’m offering here first before taking to my clinic.

Anyone in Los Angeles and in need of these medications? I was fortunate enough to have them fully paid for by insurance, and I’d be happy to pass along that savings to someone who could use it.

Hello everyone!

I'm looking for ideas on how to better the new hire's onboarding experience on the 1st and 2nd day. For eg: walk them through company mission statements, etc. Also What forms of communication do you use if you do have the orientation? Do you create PowerPoint presentations? Looking for ideas. Thanks so much!! On another note, how is your company getting the new hire to submit their paperwork like tax forms and banking information etc. Do you use a system like Workday/Dayforce?

Your teammate with the same title and pay as you is at your desk all the time for help. I'm definitely open to helping - but sometimes "help" is basically the whole job - it feels like I'm doing both jobs lol and it almost feels unfair that we both get paid the same or very close (Colorado, so pay transparency). The teammate has been with the company for longer than me.
