Just wanted to write and say MANNN IS IT HARD to get a new job!
I've had a few interviews and made it to the final round for 2 roles but have not been selected either time. Since companies don't give feedback anymore it's hard to know if I did not perform as well as I thought during an interview or if the other candidates were just better fits.
All this to say that I am dreaming of the day I can give notice and get out of consulting

I’ve heard that recruiters prefer one page resumes over two page, but how do you fit everything on one page if you have over 10 years experience and worked at more than a handful of companies? I’ve seen people squeeze things into one page with 10pt font and barely any blank space..is that preferred over two pages?! Lol

Is it better to apply to biglaw directly or use a recruiter? I have applied for a job in naukri in HCL. Today morning hr called me and asked additional details. He told that my resume will be forwarded to hiring manager.i was told If I gets shortlisted , I would receive a link to fill candidature by evening. Still no response. Does this is the procedure for recruiting in HCL? . If it so, I didn't receive link, so I am rejected?

Are we allowed to mention specific deals we were a part of on our resumes if the deal successfully closed and announced to the world?

And I said that as it is a startup and earlier I worked on a startup and it went down so there is no job security and the second thing I added was that they are offering less than my expectations.

Hi, i got the offer from other company and my current company is also trying to retain me by matching the offer, the thing is the other company from whom i got offer is in pune and i live in mumbai so i would have to relocate if i accept their offer. So Im confused whether i should accept their offer and resign and continue searching for other openings for counter offer or should i stay in my current company which is near me ?
