its still plagiarism. amazes me that managers and above dont realize the regulators (SEC, OCC, FED, etc) checking the policies we rewrite will eventually start noticing lots of banks have policies that look strangely similar... 🙄🙈 (relevant for FS risk advisory but im sure for other verticals too)
Once I watched a manager remove the names of other KPMG management from a thought leadership piece, and then insert their names so that they could present it to the client as though they were the group that wrote it. I don't know if they cleared it with the original authors, but that seemed really sleazy.

@PWC2 regulators want the banks to have similar policies and procedures, that would make their job way easier. But the banks are resistant to change and very different from one another, so none of their policies are the same
I expect to see this in the next Fishbowl digest
