A 5% raise in light of 1) calling it a “substantial” improvement on last year 2) inflation running above 9% 3) peers at other consultancies getting 10-15% raises in non-promo years is extremely disappointing

Does anyone know if I can transfer H1B with an expired passport? I work on H1B which expires in 2023 and can be renewed on an approved I-140. I just got a new offer and the company will file an H1B transfer for me. However my passport expired last month and my consulate is refusing to renewal my passport due to covid.

Just accepted a new position, which is also a promotion for me (from Senior Designer to Art Director). I’m really excited about this. Hii Sharks, I am currently with 12 L fixed and due for promotion within 6 months then my fixed might go with around 15.5 L with extra variable pay in PwC only. In pwc WFH option is there.

Now I got offer from KPMG where there are giving 16 L fix + 1 L JB. Also HR gave one day more to discuss. In KPMG need to go office at Bangalore.

Now is it worth to switch KPMG with that package by considering WOO, tax 30% effect ?

What amount I can tell KPMG to make my switch from PWC ?

I’ve gone to a therapist 3 times now, and I am unsure if this is the right therapist for me. I’m not sure how therapy is supposed to work as this is my first time, but it feels like she never really has much of an agenda to work through with me and I kind of run the appointment.
