I’m job hunting in Los Angeles, looking at a variety of titles (HRBP, Sr. HRBP, Manager, Sr. Manager, Director). I have 8 YOE and my SHRM-SCP. The problem I’m having is the huge inconsistencies between sources (there are $40k differences between some of the identified medians). (Continued…)

Based on a true story
Flying into Dulles is fine. I usually fly out of whatever airport is cheaper. Save your points and fly out of Dulles. Take the bus 5A to L’enfant plaza. When you get to L’enfant take the green or yellow metro to Shaw-Howard.
It’s now 7.50 but still worth it

The best way is to book a flight to DCA or even BWI bc Dulles sucks.
If you’re already stuck with Dulles, you can do the bus to the metro, just be warned that it takes forever and requires multiple transfers
I’m only speaking to the number of transfers. Both can be made in 2 transfers to Shaw. BWI time wise is about the same amount of time if using public transportation, and ive found it to be longer sometimes if you take the Marc to Union station and then have to transfer 2x. It may be shorter if you take Uber.
