Do in-house roles have conflicts checks?
Recently moved in-house and struggling with how to document my contributions (keep a “brag list” if you will) for purposes of review season and eventual bonus/promotion/raise discussions. At a firm it was fairly easy to point to high billables, high profile deals, praise from particular partners or clients. Now I’m struggling because my work is so….day to day. Mostly negotiating typical sales contracts. Very few opportunities for visibility or high profile contributions if that makes sense.
7 YOE, $115k base plus $20k bonus. Merit increase 5% per year. Financial services industry. Wanted to post even tho >5 YOE bc I think super high salaries are what are most often publicized when many of us CC make less.
Underpaid?
10 YOE. Atlanta. Consumer services industry. $179k base, potentially $40k in bonus and equity (or as they like to remind us, “at-risk comp”). I think I am majorly underpaid and am looking to leave.
Work for a SaaS company (non-FAANG). 3 YOE with $250k TC.
Also for market the company HQ is in the Bay Area but I am fully remote based in the Southeast.
5 YOE, Tech, $300K TC
Could you share your location?
2+ YOE, 180k TC (160 base, 20 bonus), media/entertainment
3.5 YOE. 220k TC. Social media company.
2018 grad. About to start in house at a large university. $120k

5 YOE $185 base and $30k bonus. Plus amazing benefits and 7% 401k match. Bank.
5 yoe, 210 base, 165 equity at a pre-IPO enterprise saas company in the Bay Area.
Market matters with this question as well. I’m at 210k TC (175 base, 35k in options), 4 YOE, Denver. If I were in Cali or NY would likely be higher due to COL.
Oh, and I’m in tech (non-FAANG)
5 YOE, TC is $150,000. Sass company in the Midwest.
3.5 YOE, $250k total comp ($180k base). Late stage enterprise SaaS in New York.
Almost 10 years in-house at a small hospital and I make $104,000.
