Hello, I have a question that needs your inputs how to handle. I am working with a post-MBA Associate on a project and this person seems to do extra work beyond what the team is asking the rest of us to do. On a project right now where I am the only senior with 3 staff under me. There is a manager and director but the manager is very uninvolved and the Director is slammed - I’ve essentially been left to run the project. Quick vent, would love input: I’m an attorney working for a state-wide nonprofit. I’ve been crushing it this year and have been very successful in obtaining favorable divorce and custody orders. An OC (who is generally a terrible attny) just filed a bar complaint b/c I requested attorney fees, arguing they shouldn’t be allowed b/c I work for a nonprofit.
