Are PMs getting laid off now?

Didn't have top grades, wasn't on law review. Worked at a midsize firm and was laid off in march-- have about 3 years experience in a hot practice area. Have been applying and had some interviews at larger shops but nothing has come of it. I'm still applying to roles (not many out there) in my area but coming to the realization based on number of larger firm rejection letter that I may not find a role. Where would you go from here if you were me? Was making good money at the midsize...

Do you have to return the sign on bonus if you get laid off, sign on period (2 years) has not yet passed. I would also like to know the firm's severance policy.

Is it normal to negotiate for a bigger severance package if it happens within the first year? Because Meta may have something for me but TBH I'm nervous about their hiring freeze news.

Best way to reduce taxes on severance pay? Receiving bonus and severance, tips for saving money. Open to charity etc. I’m afraid that most of this will go into taxes. I will max out my IRA.

DXC hired me for Indian client .My job profile on system admin. Work will be on Legacy Technology. Do I get chance to upgrade to cloud and shift to different Client

Most of the review on DXC is negative. How will be job security and work life balance. In most review I see "termination & layoffs." How is current situation in 2022

I was informed today that my employment would be terminated at a tier-2 consulting firm in Toronto. The reasons for my dismissal are unclear and I would like to get legal advice on the termination agreement and severance package that was offered. The week of my wedding, my husband (PL SQL Developer 4 yoe) was laid off. That was a couple of weeks ago. Thoughts on sending out assignments over the weekend? I work a lot on weekends, but I don’t expect associates too. But, because I work on weekends, I often will send out assignments by email with a clear indication in subject line and body that it does not need to be completed or worked on over the weekend.
