In March mid to end we had relief rally which gave returns of 20% in 3 weeks on some stocks. Are we expecting another such bear rally in May before everything goes down big down? Also trying to understand why March rally happened.was it due to short covering or large institution buying the dip?

Is anyone who switched firms this year still paying social security tax on their wages even though they are past the SS taxable wages threshold ($137,700 in 2020)? I just realized my SS tax “bonus” hasn’t yet kicked in this year even though it should have two paychecks ago, and I’m thinking it’s because my new firm’s payroll system doesn’t “realize” that I already paid a bunch of SS tax at my old job this year. Not sure how to fix this..do I just have to wait until I file my tax return for 2020?

I have an offer from a company where my salary is 30% higher than my current place, and the benefits are great. I'm pretty happy with the overall package , only negative is my 4 weeks vacation will turn into 3. They've already said no to matching my 4 weeks.
