In my experience pro se litigants normally appear crazy. I have an appeal of a police licensing decision that I want to do pro se because I don't think it's that complicated, I can't find a lawyer I like / trust in this area, and they all want a ton of money to do it.

What is your opinion on lawyers representing themselves pro se?

Something small is fine. I did a collection we had. Otherwise there’s some maxim about representing oneself.

Thinking about adding my child as an additional cardholder on Amex or other credit cards to build up their credit. I don't know if they're ready to actually have the card in their possession, but idea would be to establish early credit history.
Does it work? Is the purpose really to "build their habits" as Amex website suggests, or do they actually benefit from a longer credit history & piggyback off my good credit? First-gen professional here, so appreciate advice & resources.

Seeking advice. I work for a company that really knows their current subscriber base and is very DR/ subs driven in their tactics. Are there any tools or research done to help prove out awareness media works and indirectly drives more subs? Any tools or preferred research partners to help prove out opportunity audiences to expand beyond our current customer base and look-a-likes? Would Nielsen/Kantar be a viable partner to work with to track measuring upper funnel metrics?

Have a tax question:
I have invested in a pass through LLC - we’ll call it LLC A. We bought a rental property in OH and invested in LLC X that manages another property in a different state (DC). When I get my K1 from LLC A, do I personally have to file DC state return since all income/loss is pass through?? Or do I only only have to file OH state return from my investment in LLC A? Thank you!

What is your firm’s work from home policy? I’m technically allowed to work from home but the partner prefers that I’m in the office, but he works from home or remotely while traveling somewhat often.
