Hey! Is there any hiring managers looking for HR / Talent Acquisition candidates. I have a MBA in HRM, 2 years experience within HR, was on track to become an HRBP at Amazon but chose to go into to Talent Acquisition due to a toxic work environment. I’m looking for a new role and would to speak with someone regarding new opportunities or even to discuss some pointer on how to pivot into a new role!

Does anyone BU in LTI is hiring / taking Reactjs developer … wanted to apply…

Hey! This is a difficult question but here it goes...

I started freelancing in digital marketing in 2018 and I created an agency, it's not legally registered but I have been using the name and putting myself out there as an agency.

In 2021 I started working at another agency and they made signed a non compete agreement. I left that job a few months ago and I'm back to freelancing but I'm worried about the agreement potentially being a pain in the # now or in the near future. Any advice?

All my batchmates were placed in some other good teams just because of they got some influences...only thing is that I don't have any influence within the organization... I lost all hope for the career here. Any idea whether to continue here or leave for the good?

A family member of mine is in need of a pro bono divorce attorney in NY. Abusive husband/father situation, kids are involved. He was the primary breadwinner and she has very little income as she has only been working part time for a little while. She is the primary caretaker of 3 little girls, some of which have special needs. Does anyone on here know someone who can help her? I have a litigation background but no experience w/divorce or matrimonial.

How do you get better at handling discovery? I don’t mean drafting requests or responses or staying on top of deadlines. I mean handling all the little meet and confer disputes over narrowing scope, knowing what to push back on, knowing what to and what not to agree to in a protective order. I feel like I’m awful at it and I feel incompetent for asking so many questions about what’s okay, what we can agree to, etc. I’m fairly new and have been tasked with a lot of this lately. I feel lost.

I had an assistant in another office of my firm help with a big filing. It required the assistant to work past midnight on a Friday to get everything out. I’m extremely appreciative that this assistant went above and beyond to get this done, and a thank you email (already sent) seems insufficient. I think I should get this assistant a gift. Money/gift card feels practical but impersonal. Maybe a nice bottle of wine? Looking for guidance on what to get/how much to spend.

I am a 7 year litigation associate and so burnt out on it. I want to transition to in house, but have applying and not getting traction. My experience is mostly insurance defense/coverage, and most of the positions out there seem to be for tech or transactional work. I also come from smaller firms and a smaller school, so no big names behind me. All the recruiters I’ve talked to will only peg me as an insurance defense associate and won’t send me anything else. How do I get out of litigation?
