There are no musts in NYC because NYC has everything. There's no "best restaurant" , no "best bar" - talk about the scene you're into, food you're into, things you're into, and I'm sure we can give you some pointers

Just go see big mike, the bouncer at 5bar karaoke in k town. He doesnt even require a referral source - sloppy way to run a business but he doesnt pay me for consultation or advisory services so whatevs

I like having cocktails and getting lit. I also enjoy good views. I like being bougie. I eat everything from ramen to Michelin star restaurants. I do enjoy the occasional ⛷ adventure @ey1.

Lesson #1: when you say ramen, most people from NYC are gonna think you're talking about going out for Ramen, which is fucking delicious and amazing.
LES prob actually is the move here. Start at Mr. Purple for quasi expensive drinks and a great view ($15 per), then bounce around the clubs/bars.
