My super interintendant is not accurately portraying the staffing struggle in my district. We are the largest & lowest paid in the state. His news interview stated covid and technology are the two reasons for it. Before the pandemic my department was always short staffed. The raises are locked in and pennies a year ($14 to start) Should I let the news station know his info is false? We've been asking for more pay for years through pur union rep. Students are being hired as custodians as well

Have been fairly sedentary.

Still need to lock down a PCP although pretty nervous if something will happen.

• Cant check laptop because of battery and it won’t fit it scuba gear bag… that’s why I have 2 hands (coffee and random laptop)
• Negative Covid test, check, but it’s 20 min outside the 72 hour window based on who knows what time they chose and didn’t mention (don’t worry, they’ll just give me another one haha) 😅

Leveraging my network & using LinkedIn, but also sharing here. I’m returning to corporate after taking extended time (later started a certified coach business) after a COVID layoff in 2020 right after a promotion. MS IS, Tech transformation strategy consulting, agile PM, scrum master, plus previous BA work. 10+ YOE combined. Mainly FS/Fintech industry. Looking to return to similar tech work. Industry can shift. Hoping to secure a role soon. Definitely open to what may be available.

OK, hypothetical question. If Coronavirus cases will be everywhere in like 4 weeks and people will be sick and not able to work, how do you guys think agencies will deal with it? NYC here.

How do you guys really think COVID-19 will affect the rest of the school year. My coworkers and a bunch of other people seem to think we won’t go back until the fall 😕 It breaks my heart to hear.

For those who have lost a significant amount of weight, how did you get comfortable in your skin? I’ve improved my relationship with food a ton, but now I’m struggling to accept what is left behind as I lose the weight. The thought of being judged by a partner during intimacy is so so invasive.
