Good attitude, quick learner, doesn’t repeat mistakes, asks questions that show they are thinking about the bigger picture.

Self reviews their work before sending it to me. Anticipates what needs to happen next to move the project forward. When the client responds with information, he/she forwards it to me and the manager with an explanation of what they plan to do with it, rather than making us chase them down to talk through it with them. Keeps their managers aware of upcoming deadlines rather than the other way around. Most of all, doesn’t send me and the manager something at 6pm on Friday that’s due to the client on Tuesday am. That’s telling us our weekend plans are less important because we might have numerous other client deliverables due on Monday and Tuesday.

Two things: smart and hungry. The desire to succeed has to be there, or perhaps more importantly the need to not fail. But you have to be smart because it’s a high intensity technical career. So if you find someone with both, it’s magic. It will show in every aspect of their work

Our nanny takes my 7 month old out for one, sometimes 2, long walks every day (weather permitting). Love the idea of fresh air every day but its often for several hours at a time and he always returns home crying bc she's pushed him to his limit between feedings. She brushes it off saying hes just fussy which kind of irks me. Im also concerned that he's spending too much time strapped in a stroller. Is it reasonable to ask her to take shorter walks? Am I overreacting?

Another supervision/duty post...I have noticed that there is a parent who never has her baby in a car seat and their car “stinks” if you catch my drift. I feel like it’s not my place saying anything but it scares me to see a baby strapped into the front seat of a car...even if they live super close

My 22 month old son has been extremely violent recently, mostly towards his father. He bites, scratches and hits my husband a lot, often unwarranted, and once in a while, does the same to me. He is also very aggressively shaking his head back and forth when he doesn’t want to eat anymore and swipes food away that he doesn’t want. It’s pretty monstrous. Not sure if this is normal for his age or if we should start looking at behavioral therapists.

10 weeks pregnant with twins. Starting testing on Friday with my obgyn then fetal specialist end of the month. Does anyone have any experience with twins, testing, tough decisions, and being over 35. Im freaking out over twins as I’m 36 and did fertility treatment to get pregnant. I didn’t think it would work and boom, first try, timed intercouse with meds, two babies. I’m a very small person and nervous about the health of both babies as well as my own. Any advice or experience here?

Is it just me? I feel like I will never RE at this point. I bootstrapped my way through college and MBA with the help of Uncle Sam but didn’t actually start saving any $ til my early 30s. At 38 yo in a MCOL area and now making $200k a year (single mom), the $40k a year I am putting away doesn’t seem to be enough to RE. Currently at about $300k investment, one rental property. I feel like exiting the rat race entirely and building a small cabin on a cheap peace of land is the only way some days!

Hey there! I work in a mid-size full service agency with a growing marketing team. We currently don't have a CD due to our size and current client portfolio, but that's a role I'd love to step into when the time is right and my management is on board with that. Any advice on how to prepare for that kind of role without changing agencies? Or anyone open to mentoring me? I'd love to learn from a CD or ACD to see what they're doing and what I can bring without leaving my team!
