Don’t go! I am not comfortable going in person even if everyone feels healthy - asymptomatic carriers are still a thing...

like

Nah dont be pressured. Your manager should be more cautious and should have just opted out. But she isn’t. So you shouldn’t go.

Not worth getting sick/paying a lot if money/or potentially dying for.

I just declined. I thought they had a virtual option but I guess not. I’m not risking it

It’s a fair question but no need to have negativity. Yes it means happy hour

I already wasn’t sure if I felt comfortable but literally just learned that she has congestion and although she doesn’t think she has it I really just don’t feel comfortable now. I think everybody else is going but I really just don’t think I can go feeling comfortable now

FWIW congestion isn’t really a Covid symptom.

I am a clinical research coordinator working in Austin, Texas. I have my Masters in Cell & Molecular Biology and have a year of laboratory research experience.

I’ve been in my position for 5 months now. I make $27 hourly which amounts to about $51,000 yearly. Am I being under paid? Are all coordinator positions hourly? As a laboratory researcher I was salary :(

How do I go about asking for a raise or should I explore other companies or medical schools that have clinical research?

Wanted to get an idea. My almost 10 month old baby never crawled not matter how much tummy time we did with her. She only wants to stand and is trying to walk (supported. She cannot pull herself up well and if she is on her back she doesn't know how to get herself up. She can roll over no issues. How can I help her? We do exercises to help her learn to pull herself up and roll her to the side to teach her how to move from back to sitting. I'm not sure how to help her. Ftm here. Anxiety!!!

Hey! I’m new here and would like some input. I’ve been working in a new position for almost 5 months. In that time I’ve witnessed some unethical and lots of unprofessional behavior. I’ve been yelled at and berated by my coworker 3 separate times because of minor errors. I’m ready to quit. There are so many major issues in this company that I don’t know if I want to subject my mental health to this degree of toxicity. I just don’t know how to move forward from here.

The PE culture is sick. The 20 something VP was rude to our partner because our team took thanksgiving and the day before off and it was in the engagement letter that we were gonna be off. He kept emphasizing that his team did our job while we were on a break. Dude we are not sick like you and we have lives. I see something about how s**t the PE culture is in every deal we support.

Like these sickos make fun of us for working 80+ hours weeks for them and taking thanksgiving off.

Anyone have three kids and working in big law? I just found out I’m pregnant with no. 3 and it’s been a lot trying to juggle morning sickness, but based on my experience, I know this is only the tip of the iceberg of what’s to come. My husband and I are elated, but the anxiety of being a mom of 3 kids and working in big law is preventing me from truly enjoying this news. It would be good to know what it’s really like having 3 kids so that I can evaluate how long I really have left in big law.
