Hello Legal Recruiters! What’s the market compensation for a commercial real estate associate with 1+ YOE at a small firm (20 partners) in a secondary market. I’m 10+ yrs into my career, but I made an odd for me, accidental pivot into local government/real estate about a year and a half ago, and I’m looking around. The salary for a 1+ YOE associate 10 years ago in my market was in the $50 - 70K range, but I’m guessing (hoping) that’s no longer the situation… TIA!

What’s a fair expectation for my first raise? I’m in-house at a publicly traded co with ~2500 employees. I’ve been doing litigation with the company for almost 3 yrs and have only had a 2% cost of living raise so far. Graduated in 2014. Base comp is $127.5k in the Philly area. I am in the final steps of the interview process for an in-house position. I mentioned to the recruiter that I had unvested equity I would be leaving on the table. She said the company would take this into account and make me whole. She later asked for proof of the equity in the form of my account statement and balance, which I provided. I have not yet received an offer. Is it typical for companies to ask for this documentation if they don't intend to make the candidate an offer?
