In T&E looking to go in-house for better pay, benefits and work/life balance, any suggestions on making the transition?

How do you know when you should accept a job offer? I’m struggling with an offer I currently have - the whole package is pretty decent and I got along with the people I interviewed with. However, they were all 10-15 years older than me so I’m not sure how that will work out for me in the future. I’m also not completely sure if I want this job since it’s an area of accounting that I’m not familiar with, but at the same time I want to leave public before busy season.

Hi All! A good friend of mine is referring me to a “startup” (series d) firm that has an iPaaS product. Currently a low code / no code PaaS architect at Accenture (7 toe). Hello Fishes , I got 25%hike in June payslip,promoted L9 with fixed 14.75. I have offer of 18.3 lpa from IBM and counter offer of 21 from LTI. I’ve been offered a new role for 48k with a signing bonus but I’ve checked on Glassdoor and can see the budget for the role is 50-73k. I’d it worth me trying to negotiate for higher? It’s administrative professionals day today… what’s everyone doing for their paralegals, staff, etc?

I added a well recognized litigator in my area at a top firm on LinkedIn... reason being is that I’m a first year in litigation and hope to accomplish at least half the things he has in my career. So it’s interesting to see his takes on things when he engages on a post.

I’m tempted to send him a personal message, not for a job or anything, but honestly just to ask “how he did it” and what advice he might give.

Is there any harm in this? Don’t wanna be annoying.
