3-6 months, depending on tenure

helpful

13 weeks, less if withe the Firm for less than 2 years

Lol in the US it’s courtesy to give 2 weeks, but that’s not even required. 3-6 months?! Wtf 😅😩🤣

I'm not tax (I'm advisory) but my contract says I have to give 90 days notice. On the upside, it's customary in our practice to give that amount in severance (though it's not in the contract).

Align to non-M&A offering but do a lot of work in the space (DD, integrations). B4 recruiter reached out and wants me to provide resume for review with hiring partner in M&A space. Also plan to list education and past experience but primary focus on recent M&A work

My therapist just told me I'm depressed..do you ever feel like they tell you things you hear a lot or could have figured out on your own? Like take care of yourself, it's ok to feel such and such, etc. I'm still newer to therapy so wondering if that's the common experience? Do you ever have moments where you're like wow that actually is eye opening and I wouldn't have gotten that from reading self help books and websites etc?

Hi Guys, I need some help. I had joined kpmg global services recently (7 months) back from one of the IT services companies in an advisory role however now I have received an offer from HCL with 40% hike to my current CTC. What should I do. I have heard that KGS gives decent hikes and bonus payouts however the work is completely backend with limited customer interaction and limited good quality. Can someone throw some light on HCL as well, what is good and what is bad and which to choose

I can legitimately see why an mba or a business ug would help Strategy consultant’s, but I don’t see why it would help non-Strategy consultant’s (implementation, transformation, pmo). Why for latter?

Interviewed at Big 4. Never discussed compensation, however when i filled out the online app I put a high but ‘safe’ number. They extended an offer with my original amount,is it too late to negotiate?

Does EY offer joining bonus for exp hires when extending an offer? Or should I be negotiating for that?
