Hi all! I am former federal government. I resigned due to lack of opportunities and growth. I am interested in a couple of Apple service roles within Pay, Care and SDS. Also, Amazon PM roles under Music, Live Sports and Brand Protection. However, with to the current economic conditions is it smarter to focus on fed roles versus Tech. I’ve never had a Tech role. I have a BS Mechanical Engineering and MBA. Any advice would be appreciated.
Hi! I just accepted a Relationship Banker II role in Allen, TX. My offer letter was 50k base and 1k guaranteed commission a month first year. I just graduated w a degree in Business Administration. Basically the info I got on how commission works was pretty vague. Anyway I wanted to see what someone I’m their 1st or 2nd year can realistically expect to on average make in commission a year in this role. Also what do bonuses in the role look like? I’m hoping to just hear some ballpark numbers! JPMorgan Chase JPMorgan Chase

Hello Everyone! Does anyone have a connection at Netflix ! I am an author/marketing associate and truly my dream job is to work on the team that creates/produces Drive to Survive. I am a huge F1 fan! However, I am willing to start where I can and work my way there! I was laid off due to Covid and just trying to get back into the field and industry I love.

I wouldn't count on it. Be prepared to move and count on it, especially in the Midwest where people don't have to take public transportation and will likely be expecting people to be in the office sooner than later.
Sorry, I meant I’m located there now and am considering moving away in a few months possibly. I have a suspicion they might be okay with keeping me on remotely if I ended up moving. Just wondering if it’s worth bringing up now.
Definitely bring it up now. You will want to get it writing about working remotely, and you rather know upfront to weigh out if it’s worth it to move away
It was part of my salary negotiation - if I move there within 6 months, they would feel more comfortable in a higher salary.
That makes sense the way you framed it. Much better than how I was thinking of it! Thank you for your perspective.
