In the restaurant/hospitality space, what should be expected in moving from a single-Market leadership (Regional) role to a Director of Operations role where all Regional leaders are reporting into you?

Capacity and scope will increase from four locations to 20 with an AUV of approx $2.5M, scaling to grow at a pace of 5-7 new locations each year.

Is there a range for all-Brand Director of Operations roles, and/or what should that increase to the next level look like?

What are you making currently in your role and how long have you been there? Sounds like this company raised some money and you’re a key component in that future growth. The ceo likely included you in their pitch as part of the keys for success and opening these 5-7 units per year.

Does anyone know if recruiters know whether. candidates applied and didn’t get a similar job on the same company 6 months before? For context, I applied to a role in a company on a team that matches my skills best, but had applied and went through the final round of interviews for the same company on another similar role in another team (different recruiters) but got rejected. Should I bring it up with my recruiter on the current job interview process?

I accepted my role about a year ago. They didn’t offer me my asking number but met me in the middle. I was told by the director that we could reassess my salary after my first year. I didn’t bring up pay then because it seemed too soon, but now im kicking myself for not at least pointing to a future conversation about it. When asking and being given the budgeted salary range for a specific role, how accurate is the range typically? Say they stated 120-140k? Would this most likely be on the lower end, or is it the actual budget for the role and there's not much room to give above? If offered the role, what would I expect and/or counter?

When I was hired the title was a Senior “title” (I don’t want to disclose specifics) after a few weeks I get an email from HR saying that mistakenly the title was Senior but it was actually not Senior… just “title “. I was annoyed but just accepted the change. My salary wasn’t affected. A few months later: see below

When is the right time to ask for a raise in salary? Nearing the end of my first year at current tech startup. We don’t have a formal process to request a merit or cost of living salary increase that I know of… there’s less then 15 people in our company. I made a big no no when joining the company and did not negotiate the salary before accepting. Should I informally chat about future compensation to my boss? He’s a pretty laid back guy and I think he may be flexible with me.

During interview I had asked for $75k-85k once i got an offer they quoted me for $75k and said they wont budge and cant do more. I had wanted to negotiate to closer to $80k what are my options
