Depending on where you live, commission structures are different to a certain extent. If your selling services vs products the commission will also vary from 5% - 20%.

I’m in NY, but yeah I get it. That’s why specifically I was curious about service sales

Here in TX I see 20% at larger companies

Hi all, can someone help me prepare interviews for HR roles please? Thank you

I haven't interviewed in years and feel absolutely out of place and underconfident. Not able to bring my A game to the table (I can't pitch myself as ideal candidate for position).

I have very strong profile for my experience. All my performance reviews continuously state I'm going above & beyond and theres nothing they can think of suggesting I do different. Just can't interview well

I need some advise. 2 years ago( when I turned 33) I realized my energy level is going down at a faster rate everyday then I have ever experienced. I had my doctor do yearly different tests and everything is normal. I try to work out at least 2 times a week and take vitamins D and B12. I am getting fatigue and feeling weak, unable to accomplish my tasks sometimes (not depressed). I am losing the sense of consistency. Anything anybody would recommend to do or take?

I joined TCS last year at 9 LPA. Couple of weeks back I got a call from TCS HR for interview. Just for fun I went ahead and asked them schedule the interview without mentioning my current company which is TCS itself. Now I have cleared the interview and in HR Round they have told me they can offer me 14 LPA and I should immediately fill up the documentation on ibegin. Obviously I will have to back out now. What I am thinking is if I can tell the HR that see I deserve 14 LPA ?

Hi everyone,
I am currently a sales rep at cintas and I am thinking about making the switch over to tech sales. Does anybody have an advice or opinions on what I should do and where I should look? And if it would be smarter to stay at cintas?

Myself and a few people in the team are having a huge slump right now. We are in a SAAS company and we’re only managing around 50-60% of our target but our activity is higher than ever. We do a lot of calls per day & the strategy focuses on hyper personalised emails for prospects & complimentary auto cadences too - anyone experience this & have tips for how we can refresh our process to get back top performance?

Are all MLMs really evil? Obviously the ones like Luluroe and such that you have to buy $$$ merch up front. But are there any that actually work well? I have friends who sell Amway (which I thought was evil), but they legitimately love what they do. And they're not -terribly- sales pushy like other people I've met. Curious if the MLM industry is shifting.

I’m looking for some advice and/or to vent a little. I’ve been looking for a sales job specifically to pivot into tech sales and I’m getting rejected non stop and it’s really starting to weigh on me and ruin my confidence.

The positives are, I’m actually getting interviews- about 5 so far, I get to the later/last rounds but can’t seem to close the deal. I’ve tried learning from each experience, and taking that as growth for the next interview but it hasn’t worked.
I have 7yrs total sales exp.

I had an interview for an Enterprise AE role and towards the end the HM said, “I think you’d be a great fit. I want you to move forward here, but I’m not sure if you’re b2b or Enterprise” At my last gig, this happened and they sold me on the less senior role by saying “it’s essentially the same role”(which obv, isn’t true; it just pays less). How do I vet in this situation situation to avoid getting screwed?

I got offered a closer commission only role at Outbound Consulting. I’m not seeing them on trustpilot but I do see them on LinkedIn. Just want to make sure they’re legit before signing anything. Has anyone had experience with that company? Thanks!

Just had a pitch meeting, but didn’t close. They like me and they said that I’m good at self-reflection and that I implemented their critiques from the first call where they deliberately set me up to fail. Do I have a shot at still getting this or am I dead in the water?

I went to the doctor yesterday & officially found out that I’m struggling with anxiety & depression. I was promoted to Sales Manager about 6 months ago. On one hand, I love my work & do enjoy it. But I’m kind of an overachiever, so I think the stress takes a toll on my mental health. I guess I’m just wondering if anyone else has experienced this & what you found to be helpful. TIA!

Advice: About to resign for an offer too good to refuse, I want to give 2 weeks notice, but from seeing others leave it’s a same-day policy as often the case in any sales role. I worry the company won’t pay my long overdue commission (1 of a few reasons why I’m leaving) if I give 2 weeks, don’t want to burn a bridge with my boss as a good reference if I wait for said commission. I also don’t want to weigh the scenario if they counter. WWYD?

Being a Customer Success Manager is a second career for me. Any other CSM’s here and have you read any books or been to a workshop or conference that helped you be better at your job?
