In the start of busy season and my 8 month old goes to daycare 3 days a week. I feel worn down already by work & her (a single mom basically). I was looking forward to her going to daycare today because we had off and I could run errands and just have a DAY to myself.. her school was cancelled. Is it bad if I take a sick day on Wednesday just to have a mental break, alone.. I feel guilty because it’s busy season.. but I feel like I am drowning.

Went in for a position at a top medical device company. During the interview my male interviewer asked if my “directness” comes off to strong to the doctors? He then asked the same question twice in two different ways. I asked if he meant “can I dim my light”. He said ya. I just said I know how to be strategic when it comes to my deliverance with whom I’m speaking to. I felt his question was misogynistic and quite condescending truly.
