In this crazy season of job hunting and development of products, how are you guys even tracking your stress and dealing with it. Someone suggested using Headspace and Calm to track my stress and work on it, but i want to know how others in this space monitor and manage their stress in this crazy season we find ourselves.

I’m at very low point in my life. Being rejected and rejected time and time again for jobs after graduating from college in 2021 wasn’t something I was prepared for. At least for this long. I have Depression, Anixety, and ADHD. I have no emotional support as my my family is torn apart. My birth mom is deceased, my step mom is deceased, I don’t have a relationship with my father and most of my siblings are fending for themselves. It’s hell. And I’m constantly reminded how behind I am by family.

So today’s the day I put in my two weeks... why am I feeling so nervous/terrible :(

Got an offer for a job that starts in the summer (Jul 2022) and the firm is willing to apply for the H1B lottery. Since I’d have two entries (McK + other firm), what happens if the McK entry gets picked up (assuming the other firm isn’t)? Am I correct to assume that I’d have to stay at McK atleast until Oct 2022? Or can the other firm formally apply for my H1B instead?

Offer help - yesterday I’ve received an offer from DataDog for Services Architect 3 role on their expert services team (ProServe) - pre sale solution and engagement.

Offer was as follows Base: 155k RSU: 22.5k (90k total over 4 years, 1 year cliff).

I currently make 170k base + ISO (private company so kinda hard to evaluate). I’m 4.5 YOE

I said it needs to be more in 210-220 range in order to switch. She’s going to talk to the manager on Monday and get back to me.

I interviewed for a job a month ago. A few weeks after the interview, I was told my feedback was good, but the company was evaluating all positions at the company at this time. But that is causing slow response times to clients, and causing issues for burnout of the team. Partnership deal - is this a good deal?
I’m working on building a start-up. This requires an app and a website. A friend of mine has a web development company who can do the job for me very well and efficiently. He really likes my project and offered a partnership: i pay him $30k and he gets 20% equity.
