Hello All. I am a recent licensed attorney in NY and AZ. A former judge from Albania. I hold a JD from ASU. Unfortunately, being only focused on trademark associate positions, I have not landed my first year associate job. Actually working in house as a trademark paralegal. Do you remember how did you get your first job as a trademark attorney? Where is a good place I should send my resume in AZ, NY, or for remote? New in the States and I do not have such network! Thanks
Still confused on moving back or not (currently subletting place to someone). What have your experiences been like? Rent worth it even though work still remote?
Hi! I have two offers and I’m not sure what to do. One is with a small firm that serves as outside counsel to medical practices (leasing, employment issues and acquisitions are primary work load) and the other is in-house for a pharmaceutical company (managing outside counsel, vendor contracts, privacy). The firm pays much better (1800 hours, flexible wfh) but I feel like the experience in house would go further in becoming a GC down the road. Please help!
Seeking FL mid-level strategist for 8 week engagement starting immediately. Please have research experience and at least 3-4 years working in a strategy role. Nice to have: B2B or pharma experience. 100% remote.
My boyfriend is looking for a new job but doesn’t know which industry to work in, hopefully something remote or with offices in a lot of locations. He had a mechanical engineering degree & econ minor from a good school. Any recommendations?
Art Directors and Designers, what does your WFH work station look like? I’d like to upgrade mine to be more robust than just my laptop.
Contemplating making a move at some point this year since the market seems so hot. Trying to assemble a list of companies to target. I care about great TC and in having decent WLB (20-30hrs/wk, nothing crazy lol), stability and being fully remote. Have been a backbend Dev majorally and now a senior tech guy or an engg mgr. Not looking for new startups due to volatility factor. YOE: 12 Anyone have suggestions for me to look at in India or foreign companies offering a respectable overlap
Just curious. What are other firms doing as far as hybrid/wfh models? Vision is still unclear from leadership what our return to work plans are.
How are people "networking" now that we are wfh? I mean, you are barely even aware if people still work in the same company. Previously, you at least saw them every now and then at the office but now... They could have fired half the company and I wouldn't know
Would PwC cover my orthodontic visits? Do they give new joiners a monitor/ desk/ useful goodies to work from home? What about WiFi costs?
Hi there. Seems like my current agency is starting to think about sending us back into the office. I know some people may not agree, but I’ve thoroughly enjoyed working from home and don’t have plans to stop. That being said, I’m interested in hearing if there are reputable pharma agencies that are fully remote? Thanks in advance!
Anyone work remotely and also have a remote supervisor? In an office environment where 90% of the team is working remotely, I’m trying to understand why the supervisor can’t also be remote.
Travelling to brazil for carnival. Gotta get zika in me and work from home for a couple weeks after vacation! #winning!
We are looking to hire some great Sales experts on our team. Great WLB, remote and competitive pay. Please DM me if you are interested.
I will have my BCG experienced hire interview in two weeks, what are some last minute thing I can do? Keep casing?

Received a job offer that was same title and pay. After hearing more about the position, I felt that it was more senior. Asked if they were open to bringing me on as a senior, and they happily agreed….. except when I got the new offer, it was still the original salary lol. I don’t want to come off as greedy, but this feels odd. I really love the place and the people I’ve met, but this gives me doubts
Hi! I see a lot of posts about offers saying people are getting offers below their current YOE or titles, and some about how many roles you can apply for. How strictly should we live up to a role’s requirements? E.g. if a spot asks for 12 years experience and you’re not close to that, is that a waste of an application?
Looking at the way people are laid off, utilization is just one part of it. It's so hard to pin point what is (proper consultants let go from projects, etc..)
Is sharing recruiter email on compensation with Google recruiter breach of NDA ? How have others shown proof of offer to google recruiters in case of competing offer?
Hi All, I am a seasoned South Florida PR freelancer currently seeking remote opportunities in-house or at an agency. My experience includes Travel, Food & Beverage, Spirits and Consumer. I'd greatly appreciate any leads or feedback, thank you!
2 years out of undergrad and planning to apply next year. I had a great relationship with an SM and decent with a partner, but since starting remote work due to COVID I have had virtually no face time with leadership bc of the size of my team and my responsibilities. Mostly just venting but ugh how do I get LORs!!
Why do I feel sad/nervous/anxious about my last day? I’m going to a great firm but also feel so sad about breaking up with my current firm. Anyone else? Lol.
With the long-weekend, lets do a book thread. Give me your favorite sales book - here's mine - How To Win Friends and Influence People
Hello all. Is MLOps necessary for people having 4-5 YOE (experience not related to Data Science) for a role of Data Scientist?
Under normal circumstances (I.e. pre Covid), is it much harder to get sponsored for actually academic courses like MA or MPhil as opposed to MBAs? People might say those are not as relevant as MBAs to business, but MBAs don’t strike me as anything particularly vocational either.
Will exit opps differ if I go from D to KPMG? Heavily considering a KPMG offer but just worry I am jeopardizing my exit opps for a $25k bump (15%).
Boutique consulting firm vs Big 4, thinking of making the switch to get more structured support and learning... any thoughts? Attrition is rlly high at my firm and project deadlines have been delayed due to resource issues
What do you all think of this Louis C.K. quote as it relates to pay? “The only time you look in your neighbor's bowl is to make sure that they have enough. You don't look in your neighbor's bowl to see if you have as much as them.” Do you think this would make us happier if we didn’t look at how much our neighbors make? Or do you think that by sharing our compensation we can do better as a collective group to force companies to take care of inequalities?
