Now, a better opportunity came along and I don't have anything to show for my talent as a designer. ALWAYS take credit for what you do, even if it's not your project to begin with.

I have been working with Cognizant for over 2 years now. The client that I’ve been working with recently asked me to apply for an internal position with them. I did so, however, now the client is saying that they are not planning to disclose this information to Cognizant and that I shouldn’t too.

Nowadays, most of the service based companies are toughening their interviews and even after we clear the company level interview, we are being challenged with both the internal project interviews and client interviews.
This is being a red tape against getting a fair work opportunity.
Why are the orgs moving towards such hard selection process nowadays ?
Why aren't they lenient towards providing an work environment, that offers the opportunity for gradual progression of the learning curve ?

For me, I dislike drafting the spec to explicitly recite the basic things it does, eg, server talks to client to do <basic action>.

Context: in my previous gig I focused on strategy & I didn’t feel like Ms were being pushed to make sales all the time, but I was further away from that level. In my current (staff aug) gig, leaders seem to focus less on assessing whether the client really needs us/ how we can help, and more on making a sale. Later i received one more from another company with 24 lpa as fixed and 50k joining bonus.

I recently discussed with my Nagarro hr to increase my salary because I like to join Nagarro.

They came up with 22 lpa..but I told them that I need 24lpa.

Will I get 24lpa from Nagarro or am I risking it ?
