In your opinion, which firm offers a better career growth and compensation - Protiviti or Crowe

Very specific comparison there. Might need to widen it up to get some responses

Never worked for either but I’d imagine the big question is what kind of work you want to focus on. I think Crowe might handle more disputes and litigation work whereas Protiviti is more internal audit/risk/compliance/AML. Comp and promo path is similar at both

Hello Fishes,

I am looking for suggestions how to negotiate position and Salary,

I am scheduled for Salary Negotiation interview in Johnson controls.
They are offering me Deputy Manager however I want Manager in Accounts and Finance - AR

YOE 11 in OTC - AR Finance
Current Role - AM
Current CTC 6.8Lac (Under Paid)

When interviewers ask "Do you have any other offers?" or "Are you interviewing anywhere else?" How should I respond?
As a new grad I have literally filled out dozens of applications and did multiple multiple interviews so really I feel that I should keep it to myself. But I'm wondering how or if this should come into play for negotiating a good starting salary.

Are you supposed to receive a signing bonus for an entry level job at MBB?

Didn't end up making the cut in Strategy consulting case interviews. Would really like to do strategy / S&O some day. I love using data to inform decision-making.

Wondering if it would make sense to continue consulting in implementation then try to pivot again in the future or at another level - or drop consulting & try to get a strategy job at a startup or maybe do something else at a larger company and try to pivot internally.

Background is tech + MBA. Any insight appreciated!

Hi! I have a quick question and could use some advice:

I have 1 job offer that is an hour away and pays 45k, after negotiations (Research Associate Position at a University) .

I have just interviewed for a position closer to home and a base salary of 65k, but haven’t heard back from them in about 2 days (He said he would make a decision by yesterday and I’ve reached out).
I have to decide on the first offer by Thursday but I haven’t heard back from the second yet. Thoughts on next move?
