Hi All, I am currently on L1 visa and would like to travel to Dubai during the first week of July. Can you let me know if there will be any restrictions to enter back to the US?
What is the tipping etiquette on the free platinum breakfast in a JW Marriott? The server just gets coffee / orange juice and you serve yourself. It is an overpriced buffet that I would never dine in.
Flying for personal reasons this weekend and the Delta flights I have been on lack any sort of urgency to get us to the destination. Is this normal at Delta or during non-business hours in general?
On a flight (yes, but not for work) and a morbidly obese person next to me is all up in my space - there is no way for this person not to touch me. If people cannot fit into standard seat sizes (cont)
do you lose your United status early if you earned it via firm-sponsored status challenge? made United Gold in April ‘19, now apparently am... “Mileage Plus Member?"
Getting to shop at target and run errands mid week cause of no travel and I am loving the feeling of being a normie. 😬
I will be moving to Montreal in couple of months from Boston. I already have a Scotia credit card with me. Should I start building my credit history by making some purchases here and there. Will it be helpful in any way when I land like rental agreements etc. Any other suggestions.
Marriott and SPG members can link their accounts, Match elite status, and transfer points 3-to-1!

Lyft vs uber for rewards? Company politics removed, which has a better rewards system? Flying United not delta FYI and have enjoyed the $5 uber cash every 500 points
Does anyone else feel like management likes to make staff the butt of every joke? It’s pretty much locker room talk every time staff spend time with management (lunch, travel, etc).
Last year was my 1st year reaching 50 Marriott nights and I didn’t receive any communication on the choice benefits. Agent kept saying 4 emails were sent to me. Did this happen with anyone else?
First time flexing in NYC. Flight is at 6 am from JFK, I'm staying in UES. What time should I head out, 3:30?
I got the J&J vaccine (only one I could get back in April) and unlike the MRNA vaccines, it looks like there is very little data on how it performs against the Delta variant. Any other J&Jers out there feeling a little nervous?
Perk of United 1K. Invite to United's private restaurant; Classified. If you are 1K or GS and in Newark, need to allocate time to try it. Good food, drinks and a place to chill. Contd.
Flight attendant to Passenger struggling to fit his bag into overhead cabin: "Sir, please pull it out for a second, and push it back in on the other side....there you go, slid right in" #morningbrain
Why do people have more than one credit card? I like to just have one and build up the points on that. I know people that have cards for everything..
Do you have any book recommendations on how to be a better communicator in business/life? Strategies for working with others and the like - e.g. How to Win Friends and Influence People.
Anyone keeping up with the immigration developments via the reconciliation bill? Seems hopeful. Thoughts?

My mom tried to offer me fresh veggies to bring home, my dad chimes in "why give her the good stuff, they just go bad since she's never home" points to my father for realizing this after years!
Do you think agencies are hiring a larger percentage of freelancers to bypass their promises of improved parental leave, which are only available to full-time staff?

Good luck to those who are going into their first busy season! Yes, it’s daunting at first - we’ve all been there (albeit, not in a remote environment amidst a pandemic.) My best advice is to take one day at a time (marathon, not a sprint). Remember audit/tax/consulting is not life or death, and you WILL make it through. Have patience with yourself and your teams. Find a mentor! Don’t forget you can always find some moral support (read: self-deprecating humor) in your fellow fish!
Thoughts on Grey NY health teams (I know everyone has mixed feelings on pharma in general) specifically the account departments?
Anyone aware of a Delta fast track I could sign up for? Not a status match, just a from scratch fast track. Know they have done this in the past often aimed at specific companies. Thanks :)
Hello... what are your thoughts about hiring candidates to work remotely? Positives and negatives
Wife wants to see NYC at Christmas time. I want to be cheap and use points. Is Broadway near WTC area a good spot?
One of my favorite things about consulting is county of origin diversity. Can we do a quick poll here of various CoO represented. Put your flag and have the fellow nationals upvote!
Peeps I have H1b till Sep 2021 but my passport expired in Sep 2020 and along with it my I94. I had already renewed my passport back in Feb but haven’t left the country since. I read online that my presence in the USA is unlawful and staying here unlawfully for more than 180 would bar me from entering US for 3 years. What are my options ?
Should be receiving my bonus soon. What can I do to lessen the size of Uncle Sam’s share?
