I would double check this. As long as you have not been in a country with travel restrictions imposed in the last 14 days, I think you can enter the US on a valid visa, including L1. Check the US embassy website of the country you are living in

like

Yes, many Indians can’t enter US due to Covid restrictions

like

Wrong

How does it matter ? Tourists can enter ?

like

If you’re not traveling from India, you can enter

The ban is not on Indian visa holders, but on visa holders who have spent any time in India in the preceding 14 days unless they have a national interest exception or are married/parent to an American citizen.

like

OP. As long as you: - Have a valid visa stamp - Haven’t been to a banned country within the last 14 days - And you don’t don’t connect through a banned country on your flight (so fly direct) Then you are fine, your citizenship doesn’t matter. It’s not a ban against Indians but against people who have been to India recently

like

What you wrote is completely incorrect. The ban is not on Indian nationals. It's on people on non immigrant status who have been in India/EU and some other countries in the last 14 days irrespective of nationality.

My roommate and best friend refuses to get the covid vaccine whenever it’s available because she believes vaccines gave her sister autism. We’re reaching a point of tension where I can’t bring anything up with her that isn’t topical because she’s going through a lot and becomes easily triggered by anything foreign to her. I can’t move out right now. And it also makes me sad that she’s so close minded about the world. Any advice for coexisting/coping? I predict winter will be tough. TIA...♥️

HELP! Roommate is being insistent on not allowing either of us to go out due to covid (except for groceries). We live in Chicago, and phase 4 is starting in a few wks meaning most places will re-open with limited capacity. I’m not trying to go crazy here and hit up every club/restaurant/public place. But I’d like to enjoy a meal out or a small gathering at a friend’s place, things like that (w/ all proper precautions in place) but roommate is not cool with it -how to approach?

My roommate is denying to pay his share of rent he supposed to pay also which he has been paying till Dec 2020. This is not due to COVID but we had an argument using common places in Jan 21,until then he was paying his share of rent $1100 which he agreed to pay for the master bedroom which is quite large that he is occupying, after the brawl he is saying he can pay only equal share of the rent $1950/2 =$975, he also wants the extra money back that he claims that he extra paid. How do i solve ?

I feel terrible for seniors/elderly trying to get Covid vaccine appts online. I am splitting my time living between Florida and Illinois and signing up for the vaccine in either state is a nightmare for people who are not very computer savvy. I have been helping seniors who had problems figuring it out. If you have the time, reach out and help others. I have seen immense relief and a weight lifted when people get an appointment. Plus, helping others makes you feel good! 💪

Fish - need help here. I used to work in the research team at McK / Bain (let’s assume one) pre-MBA. My experience here at BCG has not been great and I am looking to move to another consulting firm. The challenge is that the practice area I work in is actually stronger at the other MBB ( not the one I worked pre-MBA). How ridiculous would it be to even apply there? And if accepted, how would it be perceived - having worked at all three. 🤦🏻‍♂️😞 Or should I just continue at BCG or go back to old firm
