Nope. She's good. Also, you don't need a new 140 immediately with the new firm to get H1 extensions, unless your priority date is close to current.

OP: how long have you been waiting to get 140 approved since the day you initiate the GC process ? I am about to start but have no clue about timeline. Can you share some info? Thanks much!

If this is your first call about gc, you have at least a year before you get 140 . Even if you expedite your 140 approval process aftr the perm step, you might still end ko with 10 months . This was before D changed its contract to the new law firm . The new law firm has been extremely bad with everything so expect more delays . Sorry to be a spoilsport

I agree how bad the new vendor is. So am I expecting to get 140 approved by fall next year and submit 485 in 10 years? I looked up the priority date that scares me.. not sure how realistic that is
