I have a corporate flight credit set to expire soon and no upcoming client travel this year that I know of.. am I allowed to use it?
Just got an offer for a Sr. AWS DevOps role at 145K, I will be working remotely 100% with maybe 5% travel, if any. No bonus with this company. I have over 8 years of DevOps and AWS, all AWS certs . Should I be asking for more $? Thoughts on the offer and how much more $ I should be asking for ? Current location is kinda irrelevant since I will be working remotely.
Anyone from the Salesforce Program/Project management team (I believe it is under Customer Sucess). I found a great role and would love to learn more about the team. The role is based in Atlanta, if that matters
I’ve been trying to get some graphic design side projects to potentially pivot to self-employed designer. I think I have a competitive portfolio, but I’m having a hard time finding gigs. I tried Fiverr, but it is hard to compete with the prices they charge there. I know many people in the field, as I hang out mostly with designers and creatives, but not many people that could be a client. Any advice?

Interviewed for a senior UX role and got an offer letter for UX (no senior title). Said they wanted someone with a lot more experience and probably won't even hire for the Sr role for awhile. (Cont'd)
I landed a first interview at my dream company and role, but I received a rejection after. All I had was a phone screening interview, I can’t understand how I could have been cut just from this? (CONT

Do you typically get paid out a bonus when you transfer roles close to year end? I want to throw my hat in the ring for an internal role next week, but we get performance reviews and bonuses announced in Feb and recieve in March paycheck. I’m in industry and would be switching to a role in same dept.
SM and D 🐠: when you interview a candidate with 9+ yrs of experience for a technical/leadership role - do you expect them to know the definitions of “objects” that they learnt as basics a decade back? or do you give them scenario based questions that solves clients’ problems? Genuinely curious.
I am a junior consultant and I moved directly from the university to the consulting world, when I was at the university I was aware that the most important part of the interview process was the cases part. Now I am interviewing for a more senior position in a different consulting firm, should I still expect business cases or another type of questions?
DC Grant Thornton 🐠 - any updates to SA pay bands? What's the range looking like these days, hearing about hiring need on the PubSec side and seeing a few interesting roles.
All I want is HBS and to make Partner at MBB, followed by a leadership role in banking. I am such a basic brown girl. I tried a couple of Finance jobs, but as soon as I landed in consulting I was like stability and prestige, hallelujah. My parents didn’t even pressure me. So basic.
What's the norm for consulting firms during a shutdown? Do people on non funded projects usually get furloughed or kept on? Asking because I've been at a bigger firm that kept everyone on during the last shutdown, but I'm at a much smaller company now that is going to furlough on a project by project basis (if your project is shutdown, you get furloughed). Just curious if this is commonplace among smaller firms/what the norm is for bigger ones as well? What's been your experience?

Bye bye PA. Finally (15 years later) pursuing my dream of opening a bakery. The hours will be longer but they will be embraced with love and passion instead of dread and apathy.
WFH today under “Business Resiliency Test” imposed by the client, and one of the client team members has been pinging me every half an hour to make sure I am actually there.
Go on paternity leave now or stay on Long-Term project? Since we’ll be wfh now for the foreseeable future anyway not sure if I should still take the leave.
Any advice for a law student interested in matrimonial/family law? Most of the people I go to school with are interested in big law and I’m starting to lean away from family law because of the large availability of jobs in corporate/commercial litigation.. especially with the appealing big law salary. My concern is if I should abandon my goals in the niche field of family law and focus in on my litigation goals from a commercial litigation approach. Any advice is appreciated!

I’ve got a relatively minor medical procedure scheduled before Thanksgiving, and I just signed a new job offer. Is it cool to bring this up during start date discussions? Would ideally recuperate for a week before starting officially and getting on boarded. TIA!

Every month AdAge always points out some smaller agencies and other creative to apply to, and that’s awesome. The flip side of that is that no matter how much research I do on google, there’s a cap on what I’m able to find, so what’s the best way to learn about these smaller places ahead of the curve?
Anyone know how the elite years are calculated for Marriott/SPG respectively? Just want to know when’s the best time to combine accounts
Thinking about seeking a lateral position with the ultimate goal of getting a retention bonus from my firm. Is this dishonest? They’re paying laterals through the nose and people who remain loyal won’t get even one of those meeting room pens with a tip you could use on a touchscreen.
Anyone participating in PwC wealth builder that had a gap of service of > 5yrs. Benefits Express is not calculating years of service correctly. On p27 of RWBP plan document it clearly states that:
