Actually I had one offer of 13 lacs my company retained me with 14 lacs, I didn't want to Re negotiate with that Organization because of Loyalty issue with current organization. So That Company HR scold on me and told me we will blacklist you.

I got asked to do 2 interviews for associate program manager role - 1 recruiter screen and they immediately scheduled for another one with someone from the business. Is this normal to already have another call with someone from the business before you even had a chance to chat with the recruiter ? This is for amazon btw

Found out that I’m getting paid $5k a year less than other new grad hires in the same department and level as me (was told that new grad hires would get paid the same regardless of role). New grads were also told that we cannot negotiate pay because women tend to negotiate less than men and they wanted to keep things fair. Then I learned that a male peer negotiated their starting bonus when I was told that I wasn’t allowed to. Feeling undervalued and don’t know what to do in this situation.

Received a written offer from Amazon 4 wks ago, pushed for higher level, reinterview. HM supported it but couldn’t get it done. My og offer went from start date of oct 10 to Jan 3rd. Recruiter said the numbers are locked. I couldn’t reach the HM. Running out of time I accepted. I contacted the HM again saying yay! I accepted. I Have been ghosted for 5 days. Recruiter said background check should come via email soon. Haven’t seen anything. Weirdest experience ever. Why wouldn’t the HM reply?

I grew up all my life being into STEM. When I was little my parents would get me science kits. They would put me in STEM summer camps. In college I kept changing my major between Phys, CS, Cybersec, and EE bc I liked all the things and couldn’t pick. Do you have small talks with your manager and directs? Feel like an as*hole for not liking it. My boss likes to start our 1 on 1s with topics around family, trip plans, hobbies, and other small talks. I don’t care how his weekend was. Or his baby. And personally I don’t like sharing much about my family or personal life so the small talks thing is very annoying to me. He’s super nice and I like him a lot but I just don’t feel like we should try hard to get to know each other via small talks.
