I get that it's inappropriate, but there is a difference between it being 2 men vs a man and a woman. I'm a woman and if I brought another woman into my room and she did this I would not feel threatened, I would encourage her to put her clothes on get her in an uber and not speak of it. Like, of course our reaction would be different if a man did this to a woman as they should.
What's so wrong with offering someone to crash with you if it's extremely late and you're both drunk? It's a polite thing to do, especially between friends. One of my most platonic friends came onto me in such a situation and ruined our friendship forever. He is married with two kids and I'm 10 years younger to him and hang out with his wife at many occasions and attended their wedding. Just trying to understand the assumption that goes invitation to crash = let's hook up
So TM spread the story "like crazy". He could've done much better.
Why the fuck would anyone invite the client to their hotel room?! Regardless of gender, put that person in an Uber and wash your hands of it.
So TM told him he could crash in his room. TM comes out of the bathroom and client is standing there, completely naked, looking right at him. TM freaks out and kicks him out of the room. Story spread like crazy and now basically everyone knows he's gay with a wife (whom we've all met). Really can't think of a worst way to come out of the closet.
Yeah agree with d1, the kind thing to do would be to keep it to yourself. Dick move.
Client pulled the naked man
Yeah, definitely not great move. Your TM is incredibly insecure to have done that.
Normal to be in shock, not normal to spread it around. Grow up sa2.
Wow, your TM sucks. No chill at all. Aww, poor guy, that must be so embarrassing :(((
I am cringing.
If TM had been a woman, the reactions on this thread would also be much different
If the M had been a girl, the reactions on this thread would be much different
You are overlooking the fact that it takes two to tango. I'm sure this client wasn't drawing this assumption out of thin air.
@OP the TM is completely normal to be in shock. Blame the fucking coward who is living a lie and won't come clean to his wife!
SA1, people are showing a lot of sympathy for a man who came onto another man in a completely inappropriate way that they would not show for a man who did the same thing to a woman.
This is a perfect example of victim blaming.
agree K2. nothing good comes out of a client, manager, or partner crashing in your hotel room after a night of drinking. this is horrible.
Is your TM 5 years old? Immensely immature move on his part.
Am I the only one who is thinking that maybe client was so drunk that he thought he was in his room and was going to change clothes. And might have been shocked by TM walking out if "his" bathroom.
Just saying.
@SA1 are you serious? Anyone that acts in this manner is the scum of the earth, a real POS!!! He has a wife (and possibly kids) it's extremely telling to see many posts that sympathize with the 'gay' client.
If the TM was a woman and spread it around, she would be hailed as courageous and stopping a predator.
