Hi All,
I have around 10 years experience in IT industry, mainly on QA automation. I have experience with PwC and Deloitte in the USA.
My I797 expired, however I have 10 months remaining on initial 6 year period. I’m looking for opportunities in US for getting H1B/L1. I’m open for positions in India initially as well. I’m well versed with Salesforce too. Any suggestions are really appreciated Accenture PwC EY KPMG Capgemini Salesforce

If ACN or any other company here is hiring workers that do not meet the criterion for h1-b, exceptional talent at American salaries that are not found in america, then one should take it up with the company. Those of us that fit that criteria should not get lumped in to ACN1's view of "quality of coworkers". I, for one, would never hire or want to work with someone like ACN1 because their racist viewpoint doesn't meet my minimum requirement for coworkers which is basic humanity.
"...but..." lol so what are you saying exactly?
Not racist but I hope this could raise up some of the quality of our coworkers.
Thank you KPMG for putting that there. I am so done with racists saying racism and showing racism and then saying 'not racism'!
People always think "oh if we can stop foreign companies from competing here with low wage workers it'll be great. Let's get rid of infosys wipro etc." forgetting, all the while, ACN is headquartered in Ireland. DT in UK. Etc. they have the same right to be here as all of us do.
Our industry wouldn't survive without H1B, I'm sure Daddy D's lobbyists are already talking to Team Trump. Trump is a populist prick, but he's also a business man.
Please read the interview with an immigration lawyer on how H1B workers and green card holders should expect and be prepared for
I'm the token white guy, and I dig it
A1 doesn't want "tougher". He wants "better coworkers". And please ffs look up legal immigration laws to Canada before making a mockery of yourself on a public forum.
@k1 I agree Canada has tougher, if not better, immigration laws. I always found that to be interesting, why we never got on their level. They approach their temp work visa process like we do our perm residency process so there's more scrutiny. Look no one is saying we don't have to make our immigration laws stronger, but when A1 tries to relate race/residency status to quality, I have to call it out. Still not sure where A1 was going with the "not racist but..." bit
"Not racist but" is always followed up with a racist statement lol. Always.
Accenture1, care to elaborate? 🙄
Lmao so anyone who wants stronger immigration laws is automatically racist? I think you may need to re-lookup the definition. FYI democrats' dream countries like Canada have much tougher immigration policies than we do
Facts @K1 Most people don't think anything but saying the n-word (with the "hard r") and burning crosses in someone's yard is racist.
Great article @OP thanks for sharing.
Question is: what will effect on consulting industry be?
US companies have hq abroad due to tax reasons, not to recruit talent. If the corporate tax rate actually drops to 15%, it would be in the corporations best interest, due to taxes, to move back to the US.
So no change for H1B, Green Card holders. Good to know.
