Could be interested in the Customer success side. What about a Sr. Asc? I have 5.5 YOE.. was told two weeks ago by a LI recruiter I’d be that in SF

What does that translate to in the firm’s hierarchy? Sounds fairly junior. Wondering if I’ll have the same autonomy and ability to drive change/make impact

Thanks for the question. It’s an individual contributor role, but you will represent our team for the entire European region. Your role will entail developing our segmentation strategy and leading the annual strategic planning process. It’s not all strategic work thought, and will include more operational tasks such as running sales incentives and measuring results for our org. Happy to share the JD if you PM me.

Need honest opinion from 🐠. Background: previously a big four consultant in tech consulting. Didn’t like the tech implementation work at all and needed to pivot. After obtaining my masters in data science, I landed a good role that actually uses what I’ve learned. However, this role also made me realize that data science (at least in this organization) has a very low ceiling, and is also highly on the technical side. I see myself eventually wanting to move to leadership/management positions.

Question about referrals. If someone you don’t personally know reaches out from your network asking for a referral (alum from same school or someone who worked at the same company you did), do you do it, or no?

Thinking about leaving B4. Will be a senior 1 in tax come October. Been doing some thinking and can’t decide if being in tax long term is for me. Want to transition into finance role. Thinking about leaving to be a finance associate somewhere and wanted to get input as the career paths for these moves. Ultimately want to be a CFO I think. I know pay is variable but in northeast is it substantial? Worth foregoing the chance of being partner? Fear is not making it and then being pigeon holed.

Hi ladies! I am seeking advice as I am torn between between prepping and applying to MBA or FAANG jobs. I currently am at 4.5 YOE, 150K base, engineering manager. My network has advised that an MBA can help pivot careers as I’m exploring content strategy (Netflix). One of my goals is to also work in London. I will add that there is an expectation in my family for higher education and candidly, my longer term goal is a CXO position. Thank you!
