If you are starting as an Audit Associate some time from now with Deloitte or any of the big 4, do they expect you to have passed/completed all 4 parts by the time you start? Received the Becker Reimbursement email from the recruiter not too long ago but have yet to start. I’ve seen plenty of people get to Senior at a big 4 firm without the CPA so I am a bit confused in that aspect. Any helpful feedback will be very much appreciated.

What's your level? If you're not at least an experienced senior with strong technical skills, then a rotation is highly unlikely. You can always consider the m&a academy which usually is announced in the summer as a way to get in.
Mostly lawyers. Hours are probably comparable to what you experience now. Very technically focused, so may be a harsh learning curve depending on your experience. Exits opps are great.
Agree with most of what was said but I would be careful with the exit opps. Sometimes with m&a tax in big 4 the best exit opp is another big 4. Not a lot of companies are so highly acquisitive that they need m&a tax professionals in house. Private equity is a possibility but of course you are competing with the lawyers for those positions. I have seen it done so not impossible but something to consider.
^Disagree. There are plenty of acquisitive corporates (IBM, J&J, Coke, and ~20% of the rest of the the Fortune 500). Plus PE, banks, hedge funds. What's more, the pay will almost certainly be better than an exit opp from FS. Agree that you would be competing with lawyers, through.
Thanks everyone! I didn't know about M&A academy so I'll look into that
