Looking to get away from transactional sales and more into consulting. My current role is very heavily transactional sales, but requires me to act in a consulting role also. I love the consulting part of the job. Anyone have advice on breaking into the field? Happy to DM. Thanks all in advance!

Is it possible for someone without a degree or tech experience to get a fully remote entry level SDR or BDR role? If so, how? My sister’s boyfriend was fairly successful at a call center a few years ago but has only worked low wage jobs since. Any steady job would be a step up. My current employer wants 2+ YOE in a “professional environment” for the BDR role, which would likely be a barrier even with a referral.

Can anyone provide some guidance to taking the CFE? As in which membership option to choose from followed by when exactly can we take the exam, if the entire amount is reimbursed or not? Just a generic timeline and additional required info. Don’t want to sign up yet if the exam dates are not flexible. Thank you.

For anyone who’s taken / passed the CFE, is it worth paying for the full exam prep course or would studying the fraud examiners manual suffice?

In an effort to make my job opportunity appealing, I am asking everyone in this bowl about an appropriate job title. Is "Administrative Assistant" outdated or unappealing? I certainly don't want to mislead anyone on the job responsibilities, but I do want to avoid any potential negative stereotypes attached to that job title. During the pandemic we started incorporating SparkHire for one way video interviews and now my hiring managers are super attached to it. It was intended to cut down on rounds of interviews - one SparkHire + 1 in person meeting. But now I'm seeing a lot of candidates drop off and not follow through on the spark hire. Is there any argument to hold onto one way video interviews anymore or should I drop it?

General accounting experience license versus license with authority to sign attest reports (California). Does this mean the attest license is only necessary if you want to stay in public accounting?
