Interested in pivoting into analytics within finance.

I'm currently a data analyst at an ad-tech company and I'm really not that interested in advertising. A lot of jobs I see highly value not only analytics experience but high competency in financial knowledge. I've taken plenty finance courses and have experience creating models but seems tough jumping ship without practical experience in an applied field (PE, IB, AM/IM, etc.). Any pointers on best foot forward?

Am I behind if I’ve been in strategy for 7 years doing different types of strategy and am still a senior strategist? Not looking to just chase titles, just trying to figure out if I’m lagging or not.

Anybody here have any mentors that helped you get to where you are now? If so, where did you look to find a mentor that is assigned with the direction you want to go with your life and career?

Im at a Job (not CACi) where I use my public trust and not my secret clearance and will be losing (inactive for a year and a half) in about 6 months. (When active shouldn’t expire until 2027) This makes me nervous since DMV is heavy on federal. Should I jump to another job and start looking or is having a clearance not to hard to get again? Hi all, I have recently received an entry level offer from BCG Dubai.
I have 3+ years of experience out which half in consulting and half in managerial role in corporate.

Would you take such an offer or would you look for better seniority at another consulting ? Is it a fair treatment?

Didn't end up making the cut in Strategy consulting case interviews. Would really like to do strategy / S&O some day. I love using data to inform decision-making.
